Classic Cup ’17 — “The Comeback Kids” —— Scorpions 07 Red came back from 0-2 in the semi-finals versus NMSA’07 to win 3-2 in the last few minutes. Then in the U10B Finals, again falling behind 0-3 at the half, the Scorps tied Clovis FC in the closing seconds to force overtime and then a PK Shootout. Clovis went ahead (again) 3-1 on PKs, only to have the Scorps come back to tie it and then win 4-3 on the sixth shooter! (the 14th time one of Jeff’s Scorpions teams have WON the Classic Cup tournament)
