Congratulations to the Rio Rapids SC 98 & Rio Rapids SC 01 Boys teams on being invited to the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXVI Tournament (March 29 – April 5, 2015). The Dallas Cup is recognized as the most competitive international youth soccer tournament in North America. The Dallas Cup is by invitation only and teams are selected for invitation based on their competitive performance history. In past years, teams and referees have traveled to Dallas from one hundred countries and six continents. Many participating players have gone on to great notoriety as professional players and World Cup participants. A few of the stars that have gone to play in the world’s biggest stage include David Beckham, Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey, Wayne Rooney, Chicharito, Raul and Michael Bradley.
