Rio Rapids SC is proud to announce that 56 of its alumnae were a part of women’s college soccer programs throughout the country this fall.  Nineteen of these players helped their team reach the NCAA National Championship tournament with Michelle Lanier (92’s) and Jennifer White (92’s) key contributors for the Trinity University (TX) team that made it all the way to the NCAA Division 3 championship game and Taylor Settecerri (94’s) helping the St. Edward’s University (TX) team to the NCAA Division 2 Elite Eight.  Nine players helped lead their teams to conference championships.  Many of these players received individual honors for their outstanding play.  Seven players were named to their All-Conference team, four players were recognized as All-Region and two players were named All-Americans:  Kelsey Neal (92’s) at Colorado School of Mines and Lauren Riley (92’s) at Fort Lewis College.  A number of players also received individual honors for excellence in the classroom.  Eight players were named to All-Academic Teams by their Conference or Region and two were recognized as Academic All-Americans:  Kelsey Neal (92’s) at Colorado School of Mines and Jennifer White (92’s) at Trinity University (TX).
